Being fake is living with another

persona stretched over your skin.

Occasionally, the inner self bursts through,

creating ruptures in the tightly etched skin.

But, don’t worry, The skin re-forms and grows

again and again.

Faking is in your blood,

Faking is an artifice of the brain.

It won’t die cause you say.

Be careful it only protects and not

suppress you in an armor so thick,

that you get lost behind the layers of paint.

Faking is a necessary evil,
