Destined to be unlucky
That is the way it goes
Always with Me.
and i am so so glad yet that I am fooled,
many times, many places.
Because i learn, i see
Something anew, afresh
in new colours
Different from the old shades.
‘Cause life is never delightful,
unless it is imperfect.
Unless it happens the way it never should.
That is what makes you hope, and wish and yearn
and quiver and feel loss and despair.
If life gave you everything you wanted in exactly the way
you wanted it to be, then it won’t be life, would it?
it would be a computer program run by you.
in its frailties, in its blunders and omissions,
in its rectifications and additions,
life is a challenge and a mystery
it offers and it takes,
every moment you breath, it is never the same.
every moment, you are never the same.
Teaching you to experience the then and now,
the ups and downs,
feeling the richness and the drought,
the plateau and the hills.
You are never the same again
Disappointments teach you more than satisfaction,
There is yet something left for you to aspire to more,
One more step to climb,
One more mountain to scale,
One more river to cross.
So would i have it that my life be full of disappointments,
Rather than full of wealth and splendor, and a life of emptiness
And satiety.
But with occasional thrills and a vision of splendor
An occasional trophy and jewels of fire to win
I would also wish others to be fools and fooled,
to enjoy the vicissitudes of life.
But not more often than me,
though Truth can be such a hard hearted killer,
yet nothing can be as merciful as truth.
As liberating, as kind.
So to be a lucky fool,
is indeed a blessing in disguise,
enabling one
to live life through its contortions and distortions.
Seeing life for what it is
A fool’s game
And being wise enough to
accept it as it is.

A common and quotidian feeling put in a very nice poetic form. Simple and easy to understand.Lifw’s truth is more a hard hitting killer than comforting and merciful.
depending on how you take it.
