Me and Me
A stranger and a friend,
co-existing side by side
sharing the same body and the mind.
Sharing the same mind space.
Fighting and wrangling over the thoughts
One says yes, the other says no
One laughs, the other cries
One applauds, the other to criticise.
Pushing and pulling
A conglomeration of
contradictions.
I ask myself, “hey is this good
to fight between ourselves
We two are meant to be one and not two”.
But, I say to me
“Oh no, it should not be that way,
We are different as different can be,
Hence our thoughts should be set free.
Free to fly and to float.”
So, I ask me,
What about WE, Won’t WE fall apart?
WE say then,
“WE are made from one and one,
Bound together, by a single rope
Our diversities are our strengths”
United we will stand, Divided we thrive”
It is not about differences
It is about what makes us One.
One and One to form two.
That me and Me,
Shall always be two MINDS
That think as One.
